Volumes of handwritten and typewritten notes on Thai etymology, linguistics, and law. Includes English and French translations of Thai legal treatises concerning property, civil law, succession, and other issues. One of these is an English translation of the Old Royal Ordinances by J. Burnay and F. H. Giles; another is apparently a draft of the Lois Siamoises, code de 1805 A.D., edited by Burnay and Robert Lingat. Also included are typescript copies of articles on Siamese philology by C. B. Bradley, transcribed from the Proceedings of the American Philological Association, 1908 and 1917, and an article on trial by ordeal in Siam (Thailand) by G. E.
